Shawn’s Cornbread

Mix all wet ingredients
3 eggs
1 cup milk
1/4 Maple Syrup
1/8 molasses

Mix all Dry ingredients
1 cup corn meal
1 cup all purpose flour
1/4 cup sugar
5 Teaspoons Baking powder
1 Teaspoon Salt

Paint inside of skillet with Bacon grease with a papertowel and place on medium-meduim high heat stove top until you see faint smoke then Wipe with the same Bacon grease saturated papertowel. Do this 3-4 times it will season the pan and keep it from sticking.
Place Skillet in oven with 1/4 cup Bacon grease for about 10 minutes, then carefully pour into batter, stirring as you pour, after dry and wet ingredients are mixed. Do not mix wet and dry until bacon grease is ready.

Mix wet.
Mix dry.
Season skillet.
Mix wet and dry together.
Stir in bacon grease now.
Pour Batter into hot greased skillet.
Place in oven 375F 25 min
